I should be doing homework...
I think that may be the most commonly used phrase of college students across the universe. We should always be doing homework... but that's just not going to happen. So we find other things to do instead of homework. Like pointless blogging. Well, I would rather this not be a pointless blog so I will get to the point.
My last post was rather depressing. Actually, I forgot I even posted it. Heh. If I had remembered, I would have posted a follow up blog sooner so that I could let everyone know that all is well.
I am enjoying my time here at Judson quite a lot. My roommate is awesome. We get along splendidly, share many common interests and are both laid back enough that we don't care when the other person leaves their clothes laying all over, because we do the same thing. I've made lots of great friends already. Classes are going well so far. I feel like I've been able to get some more specific direction in what I want to do when I "group up."
I feel very blessed to be here. I was a little unsure before the beginning of the semester about whether or not coming to Judson would be a good choice. But I'm really glad I ended up here and I can't imagine going anywhere else now.
I miss home sometimes, my family and friends. I hate the traffic, it drives me crazy. But I'm pretty sure everyone else feels the same way. I suppose I'll get used to it someday, maybe. I do miss the back country roads in rural Ohio, not going to lie. And the lack of traffic. lol. But really, other then that, things are great and I love it.
So anyways, just wanted to make sure I didn't leave everyone thinking life was as bad as my last post made it seem. Growing up isn't so bad I guess. It still costs way too much though. =)
